Whare Manaaki o Toda, a Peace Gallery at 287 Cuba street, Wellington, recently hosted a collection of fifty images gathered during my six years of research for Hidden Stories of Heroism. A small group gathered for the opening, with lively conversation following my talk.
Comments often heard were, I didn’t know she/he was so vocal about peace/non-militarism and the like. The exhibition ran from 13-19 September 2025.
I’ve also given illustrated talks at a number of community groups, and visited numerous schools. These stories are definitely now less hidden.
